The Sacco has insured members' deposits and loans with CIC Insurance Company. This is a group insurance whose benefits are as below.
INSURANCE BENEFITS
(a ) Death Of A Member
- Burial expenses of Kshs. 70,000/=
- Insurance clears the outstanding Loans
- Two times the deceased member's contributions paid out to the next of kin.
(b) When a Member Is Declared Totally and Permanently Disabled
- Outstanding Loans paid by insurance
- Member's contributions refunded.
(c) Death of a Member's Spouse
- Kshs. 50,000/= paid out for burial expenses by the insurance.
- Member’s contributions refunded
